It would have been great if Mahalo could have worked with them then. It may not have made them profitable but I bet they'd be in a much better financial spot tight now, and Calacanis would love to show the rest of the Valley how his company is making money while others are suffering.

Lisa made a good point on geekcast, Silicon Alley seems to work a lot harder than the valley. Oh there are parties, I've been to them, but they are after a full day of work and not every night.

Good stuff and I agree with you for the most part.

We had Jason on GeekCast last year and it seemed like we really had turned a corner together. He talked about flying Jim or Lisa out to do some consulting, but that seemed to have fallen through. Anyway, it's an interesting listen a year later:
