    I sure agree with your Michael Jordan analogy. But the thing is, that was the point of the campaign. Kmart knows I don't shop there. They wanted my eyes on it and they wanted my take. That's what made it fun.

    Thanks Chris. I didn't think about it that way. I still don't have a problem with it. You disclosed it and it fit with the audience. You also had a very good take on bloggers as publishers rather than journalist which is spot on.

    Chris AND IZEA are both great. There will always be a bit of a stigma behind paid posts/reviews, etc., but as long as you stay true to your brand, I think a post is a post and it shouldn't matter if it's paid or not. I love the promotion IZEA is doing with KMart, Sears, and bloggers like Chris Brogan. Wish I had thought of it!

    I also think that any press is good press, so even if people talk negatively, they're still talking! Looking forward to more great content and promotions in 2009, paid or not!

    I agree...I don't think its a big deal for bloggers to get paid for their work. The audience just needs to remember that these are opinions.
