The audience just needs to remember that these are opinions.

Re: IZEA, Chris Brogan, Disclosure, and Community Trust

Chris AND IZEA are both great. There will always be a bit of a stigma behind paid posts/reviews, etc., but as long as you stay true to your brand, I think a post is a post and it shouldn't matter if it's paid or not. I love the promotion IZEA is doing with KMart, Sears, and bloggers like Chris Brogan. Wish I had thought of it!

I also think that any press is good press, so even if people talk negatively, they're still talking! Looking forward to more great content and promotions in 2009, paid or not!

Re: IZEA, Chris Brogan, Disclosure, and Community Trust

Thanks Chris. I didn't think about it that way. I still don't have a problem with it. You disclosed it and it fit with the audience. You also had a very good take on bloggers as publishers rather than journalist which is spot on.

Re: IZEA, Chris Brogan, Disclosure, and Community Trust

I sure agree with your Michael Jordan analogy. But the thing is, that was the point of the campaign. Kmart knows I don't shop there. They wanted my eyes on it and they wanted my take. That's what made it fun.

Like your post. Thank you.
